#The mark of athena chapter 1 series#
One of the things I've always liked about this series is that they like to co. This book is a very long book which means it may have not been the perfect choice for a doing a book report. Since it's been a while since I last read it, I forgot a little bit of what went on in books before this one.

I really liked this book and I've read the series a while ago with my dad all the time. It is an absolutely amazing book, and I can't wait to finish the series! It builds suspense and holds it and just when you think everything is going well, he throws the heroes into hell, literally. Chapter2 Jason Jason was pacing around the deck of the Argo 2. I think Frank's character could have been worked on a little more though, and Coach Hedge seems like he could have been amazing if he wasn't so static. The first chapter of Mark of Athena which was read by Rick Riordan on the day of release of the Serpents shadow (The Third and Final Kane chronicles book) video. The characters became a lot more developed, especially Annabeth and Hazel. It took me forever to get my hands on it, but it got me so sucked in I was reading it walking everywhere. It’s super minor and nothing is nasty or suggestive, because that’s just not what Percy and his friends are about.Ī great story that deserves to be made into a movie! You might find yourself rereading it several times over, like me.The Mark of Athena was an extremely well written book.

For the most part, no one is at all underage to have a girlfriend or boyfriend in this book, which makes it all the more ok for older kids/ teens. This book does not contain any swear words but just suggests that some characters are swearing, such as the sentence, “he cursed under his breath.”Įxpect some brief kissing when Percy and Annabeth reunite and in other parts throughout the book. This book can be used to study mythology, Greek or Roman. There are many great messages, positive role models, and important values throughout. It’s really cool to see how Romans and Greeks are coming together to change the gods’ perspectives on teamwork. I really liked this book because once all 7 demigods are united, everything gets kicked up a notch. The adventures are riskier, the consequences are greater, and the stakes are higher than ever before. The Prophecy of the Seven has been fulfilled. in this book are more kisses so many kids may be like "Yuck" It seems a good book, but I wouldn't say that for small kids, specially because Percy and Annabeth are a little rebel, like (careful, this kind of spoils a little) When they both go at midnight to the stables and start talking and kiss a couple of times. And finally, it includes love, the most heart-touching of all, (if you're fan of Percabeth, Jasper, or Frazel, you'll love it) It includes tragedy and rivality (sort of, that's what it's meant to be, Romans vs Greeks, but if you analyze the book cover, you'll see Tempest and Blackjack, (In case you don't know, they're Jason's and Percy's horses and pegasus) And on top of them are Percy and Jason fighting each other, that gives you a lost of suspense and it's another proof of the great things this book have. It includes war, (again, war teaches you history, like some real stories that you'd probably didn't know. So many readers would love this book, for all its qualities, it includes some history, so you'll learn while reading. He plays one of the most important roles in the prophecy enplansvillor. It gets you heart touched whenever this couples talk to each other (seriously, is super cute) And every time they do something for each other, (especially Percy and Annabeth) I gotta say, this book gets your attention easily, it has a great hook, and you enjoy it a lot with all the mystery that it gives and all the Percy and Annabeth stuff, (you know, getting reunited and dating each other.) The fact that Jason and Piper are also together gets more the attention, and all the couples that appear in the book. You learn a lot just having fun reading this book, that's also awesome. This is an amazing book, many people should know this by first hand.
